Charity Raffle Sponsor Opportunities

SMPS Chicago would like to advise you of an opportunity to increase your firm’s recognition across our membership and industry by becoming a raffle sponsor during our 40th Anniversary Celebration on June 29th. 

Funds raised at the event will be used to support an organization called Project SYNCERE (https://projectsyncere.org). The mission of Project SYNCERE (Supporting Youth’s Needs with Core Engineering Research Experiments) is to prepare the minds of underrepresented students and create pathways for them to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). 

The 40th Anniversary Celebration will consist of an evening of food, fun and networking at London House’s iconic rooftop. The raffle will add an important charitable element to this significant celebration and Raffle Sponsors will be recognized at this event. 

Our intent is to secure several raffle prizes of $500 or more in value. The Special Events committee will use contributions collected to purchase quality raffle items intended to drive additional raffle sales.

Therefore, we seek donations in the following dollar increments:

• $500 = individual firm recognition (Logo in front of the raffle item)
• $250 = joint firm recognition (Logos in front of the raffle item)
• $100 = group of firms’ recognition (Logos in front of the raffle item)

If you instead would like to provide a novel item worth over $500, please contact our Special Events Director, Noula Frigelis at 312.925.9835 to discuss details for item approval, pickup, or delivery.

The deadline for Raffle Sponsorship is extended to June 23rd.  

If you choose to participate as a raffle sponsor, please go to the event page, and click register now. Select the Raffle Sponsor level desired. You will be able to make that contribution and purchase tickets for the event on the registration page. All raffle contributors’ names will be mentioned, posted in front of their raffle item, and thanked at our event.
