GSA Seeks Ideas for Chicago Properties

Upcoming tour:

The GSA has scheduled a July 28 tour of the properties, which are in a national historic district. The buildings are:

• 202 S. State St., or the Century Building, a 16-story terracotta-clad building finished in 1915 and designed by Holabird & Roche.

• 212 S. State St., or the John R. Thompson Co. Building, constructed in 1920 and designed by Marshall and Fox.

• 214 S. State St., a six-story building built in 1886 by an unknown architect.

• 220 S. State St., or the Consumers Building, a 21-story white terracotta tower built in 1913 and designed by Jennie, Mundie and Jensen.
