Kate Brannelly, FSMPS is selected as a member of SMPS National Fellows Committee
CHICAGO, IL (January 14, 2016) Raths, Raths & Johnson, Inc. (RRJ), a national engineering, architecture, and forensics consulting firm, located in Willowbrook, Illinois, is pleased to announce that Kate M. Brannelly, FSMPS, Director of Business Development, has been selected to serve as a member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Fellows Committee. Elected a Fellow in 2001 and a member of SMPS since 1987, she has served in numerous leadership roles in both the Chicago and Boston SMPS chapters. Kate has been a member of the Chicago chapter since 2003 and currently serves as a member of the Executive Advisory Panel and is the Fellows Champion for the chapter. She served on the Chicago SMPS Board of Directors from 2003-2005 and has been a speaker at several educational programs.
In this national leadership role, she will be responsible for leveraging the expertise and thought leadership of SMPS Fellows across the U.S. to support and enhance activities at the chapter, regional, and national levels. Her areas of focus will be to raise the profile of Fellows as resources to SMPS members, chapters, and the A/E/C media; develop knowledge sharing opportunities for Fellows; and guide and encourage Certified Professional Services Marketers (CPSMs) to pursue the Fellows recognition program.
Kate has 28 years of marketing and business development experience with global and regional multidiscipline design and consulting engineering firms in Chicago and Boston. A marketing leader in the A/E/C industry, she has received numerous awards from SMPS for her marketing leadership and branding concepts. She is a member of the Chicago Building Congress along with several other industry-related client organizations.
