Certification shows a commitment to best practices in professional services marketing. To help better manage costs associated with obtaining CPSM designation, SMPS has introduced the Certification Advancement Assistance (CAA) Program.
The CAA Program will help to support this critical component of professional development for individuals who may not be able to afford it. Five CAA scholarships will be granted each year, beginning in January 2016.

How do I apply?
Download the CAA application and apply by December 1, 2015. Please be sure to complete all sections of the form. Letters of support, résumés, or additional information are not required.
If selected, when will I be notified?
Recipients will be notified by email by January 15, 2016.

How is the program supported?
The program is funded entirely by SMPS.
How is the program coordinated?
The CAA program has been developed by SMPS and administrative support is provided by the education and certification department at SMPS headquarters in Alexandria, VA.

| What is the purpose of BEE? | It was designed specifically for senior business development and marketing leaders seeking peer-based learning, professional growth and relationships through a dynamic, interactive exchange of ideas in a collaborative forum. |
| What are the eligibility requirements? | Senior SMPS Members with over 10 years of experience and holding senior-level Business Development and Marketing positions within their respective firms. |
| What topics are covered? | BEE sessions focus on high-level content/discussion on a wide variety of relevant topics. |
| Who are the session speakers? | Leaders within the AEC Industry, as well as other related Industries to offer fresh perspective. |
| How often are the sessions? | We hold BEE sessions quarterly and each lasts two hours. |
| What is the session format? | BEE events facilitate networking opportunities with 30 minute active presentation followed by one hour of open discussion. No learning units are offered. |
| Where are the events held? | Chicago Architecture Foundation, Arcelor-Mittal Design Studio. |
